Ring and Bangle Sizes
If you do not know your ring size, the best thing to do is to pop into your local jeweller and have your finger professionally measured. If this is not an option, you can purchase a ring sizer from me by clicking here. Or as a last resort you can measure your finger at home using the below method.
- Find a piece or string or a strip of paper no wider than 1.4cm
- Wrap it around the base of the appropriate finger.
- Use a pen to mark the point on the paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.
- With a ruler, measure the length from the starting end of the paper to the pen mark.
- Use the chart below to determine your uk ring size.
Here’s some tips to make your ring size measurement more accurate:
- After slinging the ring sizer on, make sure it slides off fairly easily over the knuckle.
- Don’t measure cold fingers. This is when fingers are at their smallest.
- For the most accurate reading measure fingers at the end of the day when the finger is at its biggest.
Resizing service
If when you receive your ring you find it does not fit as you would like, then I do offer a resizing service for my silver rings. But sadly sea glass and stone rings can not be altered as the stone will not survive the heat from the soldering process.I do charge a small fee of £5 to cover the cost of this service.
Measuring For Bangles
- Bangle size is determined by the size of your hand and not your wrist.
- To determine your bangle size, simply tuck your thumb into the palm of your hand (as if about to put on a bangle) and using tailor’s tape, measure your hand all the way around the set of knuckles closest to your wrist, from knuckle to knuckle. Compare that measurement to the chart.
